Efficiency Program
Provides Inspections for Replacement Heating and Cooling Systems
The Efficiency Program is the latest addition to Huntsville Utilities “Energy Services Menu”. The program is offered jointly by Huntsville Utilities and TVA to provide information and free inspections to residential customers who are replacing their heating and cooling equipment.
In the Efficiency Program, customers select a contractor from the QCN list Quality Contractor Network (PDF). After the new system is installed, an inspection is scheduled with Huntsville Utilities to insure Efficiency, Comfort, and System Longevity.
Rates in our area are relatively low but usage is high. Heating and cooling equipment use the highest percentage of energy within a home, and their efficient operation is the most thing we can do to lower our utility costs.
