COMMERCIAL & INDUSTRIAL RATES
Electric Rates
Effective February 25, 2010
Schedule GSA
Applicability: Commercial, industrial, institutional where the customer’s contract demand is 5,000 kW (kW = kilowatt) or less.
Character of Service: Alternating current, single- or three-phase, 60 hertz. Power shall be delivered at a service voltage available in the vicinity or agreed to by Distributor.
1. If (a) the higher of (i) the customer’s currently effective contract demand, if any, or (ii) its highest billing demand during the latest 12 month period is not more than 50 kW, and (b) customer’s monthly energy takings for any month during such period do not exceed 15,000 kWh:

2. Water Rates
Effective September 2008
Huntsville Utilities Water Rates are a combination of Consumption Charges plus Availability Charges as set out below:

Common (Master) Metered Accounts
A. In the instance of using water through a common meter, whether for separate units
or buildings, houses occupied by more than one family or persons involved
in separate or different businesses, the Monthly Consumption Charge shall be based
upon the rates shown above for individually metered accounts, and the Availability
Charge shall be $3.84 per unit, family, or business, except
B. Where common meters serve six (6) or more units, families, or businesses, the charge shall be $1.55
per 1,000 gallons. In addition to the above, there will be an availability charge per month of $3.84 per unit.
Fire Line Charges
A monthly charge of $3.15 per inch diameter will be applied to each fire line connection,
together with the established charge for any water consumption as set
forth herein.
(Outside Huntsville City Limits)
Rates are the same as Madison County Water rates.

Small Non-Residential Rate, Class 35
Applicable to commercial and industrial customers who establish a maximum daily
usage of less than 15,000 cubic feet of natural gas during the past 12 month
billing cycle.

Industrial Interruptible Rate, Class 10
Applicable to commercial and industrial customers with Huntsville Utilities for
Interruptible Natural Gas Service and meeting the requirements for interruptible natural gas service. This Rate Class applies to interruptible customers
who establish a maximum daily usage between 50,000 cubic feet and 299,000 cubic feet.

who establish a maximum daily usage of not less than 299,000 cubic feet.
