- All connection fees will be waived for evacuees. (As was done for tornado victims in the past.)
- We are offering our vacant space in the west end of the building to displaced small businesses, rent free for one year.
- We have authorized up to 5 days of additional annual leave for any employee volunteering their services to a certified organization in the hurricane affected areas.
- We will provide 250,000 bottles of bottled water for the relief effort.
- Electric, Gas and Water crews were authorized to go and assist in services restoration in the hurricane affected areas for up to 2 weeks.
- We will place a donation line for “Hurricane Katrina Relief” on our monthly bills for two months. This money will be donated to the Red Cross and the Salvation Army.
