Project Share to Provide Cooling Assistance

Huntsville Utilities and the Project Share Board are pleased to announce that the Project Share program will be able to provide utility bill payment assistance again this summer for eligible customers.

Cooling assistance begins this week and concludes on August 31, 2007. The award amount will be a maximum of $50.00 or the electric portion of the bill -whichever is the smallest.

To request assistance, eligible customers need to contact the Salvation Army at 536-5576 before submitting an application at the Salvation Army office at 2114 Oakwood Avenue NW.
