High Level Service Fees Effective September 26, 1986 Any service line that is tapped on a main served by one of the following reservoirs requires a $482 high-level fee per lot/unit in addition to the regular tapping fee. Big Cove Garth Mountain East Governors Dr. Monte Sano 72 East Smithers Mountain Toll Gate Weatherly Mountain Any service line that is tapped on a main served by one of the following reservoirs requires a $964 high-level fee per lot/unit in addition to the regular tapping fee. Inspiration Point Russell Hill II Green Mountain (mains installed by developer) Huntsville Hills Mathis Mountain Hampton Cove Tank Any 1" service line that is tapped onto an existing water main on Green Mountain requires a $2,589 tapping fee per lot/unit. System Development Charges (SDC) These fees are applied to each meter to be installed in areas with water service from Huntsville Utilities. These fees are due from the developer at the time of Aid-to-Construction (ATC) payment and from the builder at the time of the meter request. SDC Fee Chart Frontage Fees Frontage Fees may be required for property located on any of the following roads due to previous main extensions or parts of the county system taken over by Huntsville Utilities. Wayne Circle Wilson Drive (N. of Barbara Dr., 2700-2750, even only) Zierdt Road Note: In developed and platted subdivisions (since 1984), high level fees and impact fees are generally collected in advance from the Developer as a part of his aid-to-construction, and as a rule, separate frontage fees will only apply to individual lots being developed outside newly platted subdivisions or to lots in minor subdivisions where aid-to-construction may not be required from the Developer.
