My Utilities offers an easy and convenient way to view your current bill and consumption history as well as signing up for other services from your personal computer over a secure connection. When you are ready to pay your bill, simply choose an online payment method or one of our other payment options.

Online Payment Options

Online Bank Draft

Online Bank Draft allows you to pay your bill online through Huntsville Utilities at no extra charge.

  • Complete and mail the pre-authorization form.
  • Once authorized, a "Pay by Bank Draft" button will be available when you view your current bill. Once a payment has been submitted, a receipt page will display to print for your records.

Credit Card

Credit Card payments are processed through Speedpay, an independent provider, through their secure payment system or by phone. Speedpay charges a convenience fee and accepts Visa, MasterCard, or Discover. To pay by Speedpay online use the “Pay by Credit Card” button that is available when you view your current bill. To use Speedpay by phone, call their toll free number 1-877-429-4131. Once a payment is processed, you will receive confirmation of payment for your records and the payment will show up on your next credit card statement in two lines - one for Huntsville Utilities and one for the convenience fee to Speedpay.

Huntsville Utilities is excited to offer our customers the convenience of electronic billing.

What is e-Billing?

e-Billing eliminates the paper bill and notifies you by email each month when your new bill is available for viewing online.

How to Sign Up for e-Billing:

  • Log into "My Utilities"
  • Click e-Billing graphic
  • Fill out sign up form and submit
  • You will receive two emails upon sign up, one to acknowledge your request, and one to confirm that your account has been switched to e-Billing.

Your Responsibilities:

  • A valid email address must be kept on file. If we are unable to deliver your email notification, your account will be removed from the e-Billing program.
  • Changes to your email address can be submitted online at "My Utilities", e-Billing.
  • Management of any anti-spam software to allow emails from ebilling@hsvutil.org to reach you.

How to Modify Your Email Address or Discontinue e-Billing:

  • Log into "My Utilities"
  • Click e-Billing graphic
  • Fill out appropriate form
  • You will receive an email to acknowledge your request.

Closing or Transferring an Account:

  • When closing or transferring an account, e-Billing is removed and the final bill is mailed to the forwarding address.
  • A request for e-Billing will need to be submitted for the new account with the new account number.
