Providing outstanding customer service continues to be the ultimate goal at Huntsville Utilities. For your convenience, you can now access your utility account through our automated phone system. All you need is your ten-digit Huntsville Utilities account number and your assigned pin number. You may request a pin number by emailing pinreq@hsvutil.org or call Huntsville Utilities at 256-533-0646.

To make payments on your utility account through the automated phone system, you must enroll in the Bank Draft Program. Complete the Bank Draft Authorization Form and return (requires Adobe Acrobat Reader) or call us at 256-535-1255. If eligible, the Bank Draft Program will be available for your use in approximately 2 business days. If your bank information changes, a new authorization form will need to be filled out and returned with a voided check.

The audio instructions on making payment arrangements and accessing account information are easy to understand and follow. You no longer need to wait for an operator to conduct most transactions. The automated phone system is available 7 days a week, except on Sunday from approximately 6am-8am for maintenance. General information is available at any other time, however, payment agreements, payments by bank draft and check resubmission transactions are unavailable from approximately 7pm-10pm Monday-Friday.
